Jo is a graduate student working with Jim Zachos and Mathis Hain on problems related to massive Eocene carbon addition to the climate system. She is looking to address these questions through reconstructing and modeling past changes.
Maddie is an Earth and Planetary Sciences graduate student co-advised by Adina Paytan and Mathis Hain. Her research is focused on the reconstruction and modeling of seawater strontium isotopes during the Late Quaternary to understand the impact of glacial-interglacial processes on the global carbon cycle and climate system.
I am interested in the evolution of climate, specifically periods of abrupt climate change, in hopes of better understanding what climatic changes may lie ahead. I am also interested in the carbon cycle and it’s impact on climate in the past.
